We’re thrilled to announce Passport Kitchen! Our first educational residency program held @berkshirebotanicalgarden on the first Friday of every month! 🌎

This four session class is designed to bring excitement and invite curiosity about the culinary world. Through hands-on, experiential learning, we’ll cover the basic techniques and flavor affinities from across the globe. In each of the four sessions, we will work with local and seasonal produce to explore internationally-influenced cuisine. Each session will focus on two to three curated dishes and will conclude with a family-style meal for all participants. The series will cover cuisines from the Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East that we will bring to life with locally sourced ingredients.

We’ll be serving up a 7-course veggie-forward menu family-style right in their cozy and vibrant greenhouse 🪴 The perfect space to break the winter blues and celebrate love! 💚

Dinner will also be paired with a live musical performance from local singer-songwriter @glori.wilder! 🔥🎤 Get together with those you love most and join family, friends, and partners in celebrating love! 🥂

A look back on a year full of partnerships, collaborations, and the incredible people that helped make it all happen 🫶🏼

In our first year, we worked with more than 100 different businesses, and hosted more than 150 events. Everything from brunches on farms and ramen pop ups, to harvest dinners, internationally inspired dinner parties, and celebrations of all kinds.

We cannot thank everyone who has been a part of this past year enough. Everyone from our staff and restaurant partners, to our farm purveyors and the lovely people enjoying our food. Thank you. 💛

Our next event will be a Valentine’s Day Dinner held in the greenhouse @wardsnurseryandgardencenter with live music from @glori.wilder! More info on this event along with other event updates will be coming your way over the next few weeks, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled! 🤩

Until then, we will be taking a short pause from our events to catch our breath, and gear up for an exciting year of growth and continued development! Nearly 1 year ago I was given this advice that would truly change the way I approached life and learning. Over the past 10+ years of my life, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from some of the most inspirational schools, restaurants, and people. Without the incredible network of professors, restaurateurs, family, and friends, After Hours would have never come to life.

I want to thank everyone who has had a hand in my development and especially thank @berkshireschool for the doors they have helped open and for giving me the opportunity to share my story at their inaugural TEDx event!

We’re extremely excited to announce our collaboration with @berkshire_bounty in bringing Thanksgiving to all within our local community this season 🦃

Take the stress out of Thanksgiving prep and enjoy some of our Fall favorites! All dishes come fully prepared and include gravy, house garnishes, and herbs to make your dishes POP! 💥

We’re also partnering with @pryjma_petals in offering additional flower arrangements to your order, grown right on their farm in Great Barrington! 🌸

Orders can be placed through Saturday, November 23 and can be picked up at The Thornewood on Wednesday, November 27 from 10am-5pm. Separate pickups or deliveries can be made if arranged prior.
